FAQs

  • While Jump 4 Wellness operates as an out-of-network provider, you can still use your insurance benefits to pay for our services. Here's how it works:When you receive treatment from us, we provide you with a detailed superbill (receipt) that includes all the necessary information your insurance company needs. You can then submit this superbill to your insurance company for reimbursement under your out-of-network benefits. Many insurance plans will reimburse a percentage of out-of-network services.● The benefits of out-of-network care:● True one-on-one attention for your entire session● No insurance company dictates how many visits you need or what treatments you can receive● Longer, more thorough treatment sessions● Direct communication between you and your provider without third-party interference● Treatments aren't limited by arbitrary insurance restrictionsWe recommend contacting your insurance company beforehand to understand your specific out-of-network benefits, including your reimbursement rate and whether you've met your deductible. We're happy to provide any documentation you need to maximize your benefits.

  • A prescription or referral for physical therapy is not required to be seen by us. You can call and make an appointment today. Quick access to your physical therapist can often be the difference between an acute or temporary condition and chronic condition requiring surgery. You do not need to wait 3-4 weeks to be seen, we have next day appointments available.

  • Please be prepared to fill out paperwork if you have not filled out our online forms. The initial visit includes a total body diagnostic to screen and assess functionally limited areas which will then be discussed with you. Following this assessment your treatment prognosis will be reviewed and discussed with you to ensure understanding of the diagnosis and next steps. Treatment is common on the first day and encouraged for quicker healing times, but not required.

  • Long answer short, absolutely. Our bodies develop compensations and adaptations to allow us to continue to function and go about our day. However, these changes to natural movement are slow and occur overtime and we can live with some of these “bad habits” for decades before they get properly addressed and treated. Even if the condition is “untreatable” the body’s response is definitely treatable and may be one of the key’s to achieving a more pain-free lifestyle. Here’s the catch, the longer a problem has been present, the longer it can take to treat due to muscle memory of the body and scar tissue. Bottom line: the earlier you treat a problem, the quicker it can get better; the longer the delay for treatment, the longer it takes to get better.

  • If you elect to receive treatment on the first day, the initial total body diagnostic fee is waived and you only pay for the treatment.

  • The body was designed to move regardless of it's age. Think of your body as a car. If you leave a car in the shed for 2 years and then decide to go for a joy ride, it may not run as well as it used to in its “hay-day”. Physical therapy is maintenance for your body, like an oil change for your car or a tune-up. Don’t wait for your engine to explode before you change your oil…don’t wait for your back or shoulder to go out before you get the limitations in your body addressed.

  • The Titleist Performance Institute (TPI) Golf Assessment is a comprehensive evaluation designed specifically for golfers who want to improve their performance and reduce pain or injury. As TPI-certified professionals, we use proven assessment techniques to identify physical limitations in mobility, stability, strength, and balance that may be affecting your golf swing. These physical restrictions often lead to swing compensations that not only limit your performance but can also cause pain and injury over time. During the assessment, we evaluate your movement patterns, flexibility, and functional strength through golf-specific tests. Based on the findings, we create a customized exercise and treatment program designed to address your specific limitations. By improving your body's ability to move efficiently, you'll see improvements in your swing mechanics, distance, accuracy, and consistency—all while reducing your risk of common golf injuries like back pain, elbow tendinitis, and shoulder problems.

  • Manual Therapy and education. What sets Jump 4 Wellness apart from other providers is the expert knowledge of manual therapy techniques learned over the years. Training from all over the world gives our provider a broader range of knowledge to fix problems that traditionally trained providers may fail to fix. Research shows that providing high-quality manual therapy along with targeted exercise provides greater results than exercise alone or massage alone. https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S1360859224005564#:~:text=This%20systematic%20review%20found%20that,disability%20relief%20in%20LBP%20patients.

Many people feel that traditional physical therapy is repetitive, impersonal, or ineffective. This often happens because of how today’s healthcare system is structured. In many clinics, patients are evaluated by a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) but then passed off to assistants or support staff for the majority of treatment. While these providers can guide exercises, they are not trained to continually reassess movement, identify underlying dysfunctions, or adapt treatment as the body changes.

At Jump 4 Wellness, your care is different. You work directly with a licensed DPT for every session. This ensures your treatment is personalized, closely monitored, and adjusted as needed to address the root cause of your issue—not just the symptoms. Our goal is not only to relieve pain but to help you restore long-term independence and mobility.

Because of the advanced training and expertise behind our approach, many clients find their experience at Jump 4 Wellness to be far more effective than what they’ve encountered in standard physical therapy settings.
